Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 Sep 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Vector Tech Academy ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use our website, student portal and online courses.

Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, phone number, city/state and password (stored in encrypted form) when you create an account.
  • Enquiry information: the details you share through our contact form, such as your name, email, phone number, course of interest and message.
  • Purchase information: order details, billing name, state and GSTIN (if provided). Payments are processed by our payment partner; we do not store your card, UPI or bank details.
  • Learning information: course enrollments, lesson progress, quiz attempts, assignment submissions and certificates.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, and cookies needed to keep you logged in and the website secure.

How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account and give you access to your courses.
  • To process payments, generate invoices and issue certificates.
  • To track your learning progress and show course completion status.
  • To respond to enquiries and provide student support.
  • To send important emails about your account, courses and purchases.
  • To keep the platform secure and prevent misuse.

Certificate verification

When a certificate is issued, the learner's name, course name, completion date and certificate ID can be viewed by anyone who verifies that certificate on our website. This is how clients and employers confirm that a certificate is genuine.

Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us run the platform — such as our payment gateway, email service and hosting provider — and only as needed for them to provide those services, or when required by law.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in, protect forms from misuse and remember your session. If analytics are enabled, they are used to understand how the website is used so that we can improve it.

Data security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including encrypted passwords, secure connections and restricted access to course files. No online system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

Your choices

You can update your profile details from the student portal. To request a copy or deletion of your personal information, please contact us. Some records, such as invoices and issued certificates, may need to be retained for legal, tax or verification purposes.
